PDF Pattern: Cable Chain Laptop Case

The cablechain laptop case is based on Klarybarry's Honey Honey bag. (The cable chain pattern is also available as a bag: #cablechainbag).
The case is knitted in the round on circular needles in a 2-coloured cable pattern. From the opening of the case, a lining is knit and then folded into the case to hide all the floats, which gives a nice finish to it.
The case is then finished by adding a zipper to the opening to keep your laptop secure.

Yarn
Hoooked Zpagetti yarn (ca 120 m/700g) in two colours. You could also use any
chunky yarn. Or why not try many thinner threads together?
Colour A: blue (ca 550 g)
Colour B: orange/white (ca 250 g)

Gauge
14 sts x 11 r = 10 x 10 cm in pattern
Note: Zpagetti yarn is made from waste from the textile industry, which means that each ball is unique. This could affect the gauge, size and look of your case.

Materials
• Circular needles 10 mm, 40 cm.
• Crochet hook (optional)
• Cable needle
• Darning needle
• Scissors
• Zipper approx. 30 cm.

Measurements
Approx. 26 x 36 cm.

Note: The case is only available in one size, however it's easy to make it bigger/smaller by increasing/decreasing the number of pattern repeats.
