PDF Pattern: Cable Chain Bag

The Cable chain bag is based on Klarybarry's Honey Honey bag. It's just as chunky and funky as the Honey Honey bag but it's bigger and has a different cable pattern (and the construction is updated a bit). The cable chain pattern is also available as a laptop case version (#cablechainlaptopcase)
The bag is knitted in the round on circular needles in a 2-coloured cable pattern. The handle is knitted back and forth from one side of the bag and is then sewn in place on the other using mattress stitch, which makes the seam almost invisible. The bag is then finished by knitting a lining to hide all the floats on the inside.

Yarn
Hoooked Zpagetti yarn (ca 120 m/700g) in two colours. You could also use any chunky yarn. Or why not try many thinner threads together?
Colour A: black (approx. 400 g)
Colour B: pink/white (approx. 250 g)

Gauge
14 sts x 11 r = 10 x 10 cm in pattern
Note: Zpagetti yarn is made from waste from the textile industry, which means that each ball is unique. This could affect the gauge, size and look of your bag.

• Circular needles 10 mm, 40 cm
• Crochet hook (optional)
• Cable needle
• Darning needle
• Scissors
